Now, we're excited to bring that same trusted service to a brand-new location on the north side of Idaho Falls.

Opening September 2026, our Idaho Falls North facility represents something much bigger than a new building. It's our commitment to better serving the customers who have supported us for decades and ensuring that even more Idaho Falls families have a repair shop they can count on.

Built to Better Serve Our Community

This project has been years in the making. After purchasing the property in 2021, we began planning a facility designed around one simple goal: creating more capacity so we can take care of our customers when they need us most.

In recent years, our existing locations in downtown Idaho Falls and Rexburg have often been booked weeks in advance. We knew our customers deserved faster access to the service and repairs they depend on, and expanding our current facilities wasn't an option.

Building a third location allows us to reduce wait times, improve efficiency, and continue providing the level of care our customers have come to expect from the Oswald name.

Continuing a Family Legacy

Since 1939, our family has believed that great automotive service starts with honesty, integrity, and treating people the right way.

For the Oswald family, this new location represents another step in a story that began more than eight decades ago. It's a chance to continue building on the foundation laid by previous generations while creating opportunities for generations still to come.

We're proud of how far we've come, but we're even more grateful for the customers who've made this milestone possible.

Among the many details built into the new shop, one of the most meaningful to us is a custom sign created from tools used by multiple generations of the Oswald family. Locally crafted from tools that belonged to Grandpa, Dad, and Kevin, it serves as a reminder of the work ethic and values that continue to guide our business today.
